Cracking sound?

Where does the cracking sound come from? Mostly when stepping out of the saddle or under higher loads and certainly not when standing still or in the workshop.

But long searches are now a thing of the past. Simply listen to all possible joints of the wheel with a motor stethoscope (not with a medical 🙂 as shown in the picture) and the fault is quickly found.
